Universities (Rag Week) & Charities
A bungee event is a fantastic way of generating a large sum of sponsorship money in a very short space of time. If 100 people jump at your event and raise €160 each (€80 towards jumping and €80 goes to your charity) in sponsorship money, then your charity receives €8000 for the day. (Values quoted are an average and may be higher or lower depending jumpers fundraising efforts prior to the event). A Bungee Jumping event also raises local public awareness of your charity through publicity and media coverage.
Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants.
A well organised bungee event can provide takings in excess of New Years Eve’s values. As well as generating huge profits, a bungee event will raise public attention of the pub/club and is a great way of advertising your venue in the local community.
Public Events (Fates/Carnivals)
Bungee Jumping can be used as a main attraction at any public event and helps to raise the profile of the event. Bungee can provide the central focal point around which other attractions can be placed and scheduled. Bungee Events will attract more people to your event and more media coverage for the event as a whole.
Many public events and pubs team up with charities and hold combined events. This suites all parties in that the charity takes the sponsorship money and has a venue to hold an event at, the pub/public event benefits from the increased media attention and volume of people at an event.
Booking and Contract Info
How to go about Booking Bungee.ie?
Organising a bungee event is very straight forward. Once an organisation has found a venue to host the bungee jump, contact us with the details, and a desired date for the event. Our team will discuss the proposed venue to assess it's suitability for bungee jumping.
Once the location has been qualified, our contract details will need to be agreed upon, at this stage it will be the responsibility to the event organiser to promote the event. Bungee.ie will place details of the event on our website and necessary contact information relating to the event.
Contract Details
Due to the high costs of crane hire and travelling, Bungee.ie or our partners will not turn up for any event on spec. Instead we place a contract with the event organiser for a minimum number of guaranteed jumpers. At the current time this stands at 60 jumpers.
This means, if less than 60 people jump with us at a given event; the event organiser will be accountable for the shortfall in revenue. The organiser must also pay for each jump over 60. There have been very few events in our history where this has occurred, but we stipulate the contract to safeguard our own interest.
